Dashy takes the card that comes with each Booking or Expedia reservation, virtual or the guest's own, stores it tokenized in Stripe and charges it when the policy allows.

Card numbers are processed and stored by the payment gateway, which is PCI DSS compliant. Dashy only works with the token, and your team sees the result of the charge, not the card.

Which gateway should I use?

In Argentina, MercadoPago for local guests. For international cards and automatic charging of Booking and Expedia, Stripe. You can use both.

Which account does the money go to?

The hotel's account with the gateway: MercadoPago or Stripe pay the hotel directly.

What is a virtual card?

A single-use card that agencies such as Booking or Expedia send to pay for the reservation. It can only be charged within a date window; automatic charging collects it in time so it doesn't go to waste.

Does it work in Venezuela?

Yes, for recording and reconciling payments in dollars and bolívares with the methods you use. Which online gateways are available depends on the country where the hotel's account is registered; we'll go over it together in the demo.
